It will likely have a pretty strong odor for a couple of weeks. This is to be expected as the material is derived from animal blood, and it can smell unpleasant as it decomposes
- Safe for Humans and Pets: BaleBuster is completely safe to use for both humans and pets, but to avoid pets or carnivorous wildlife from trying to eat the BaleBuster it can be beneficial to make holes in the bales and try to work most of the material down into the bales. This helps speed the breakdown of the material and prevents some of the odor and the neighbors dog from eating it

BaleBuster should be used at a 50% rate of the typical organic agents we recommend, because it works much better than other options
- Proper Watering Instructions: Do not overwater the bales after applying the BaleBuster. Use only one gallon each day during the application process. If you are spraying with a hose, just limit each application to 30 seconds of spray on the bales. If you overwater it can slow the decomposition and bacteria growth inside the bales. We just need them slightly moist not soaking wet
